Description:
The HR Executive will support our engineering design and consultancy firm by managing daily HR functions including recruiting, training, performance management, and employee relations. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of our operations by ensuring our staff is efficient, well-coordinated, and productive.
Specific responsibilities:
1. Manage the recruitment process from job posting to hiring, ensuring we attract and retain high-quality engineering talent.
2. Assess training needs and develop programs that provide necessary skills improvement and career development.
3. Conduct investigations and resolve complex employee relations issues, maintaining a balance between employee needs and business goals.
4. Administer employee benefits programs and answer employee queries concerning benefits.
Technical skills and competencies:
1. Proficiency in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or Workday to manage employee data, payroll, and benefits administration efficiently.
2. Ability to identify skills gaps between the current and desired competencies of employees.
3. Ability to communicate with tact and professionalism, especially when delivering unfavorable news or feedback.
4. Proficiency in using benefits administration software to manage, track, and update employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
