Brief Position Descriptions / Responsibilities
- He/She will be expected to handle, monitor and provide advise on all projects from engineering, pre-award, award to handing over and monitor contractual issues for all projects during execution.
- Responsible in conjunction with the Project Manager for the administration and stringent implementation of contract terms and conditions.
- Ensures that commercial /contractual negotiations are controlled in accordance with procedures and in consultation with the Project Manager.
- Co-ordinate and assists the project team with the review of contractors documentation and establishes gap analysis documents (technical & commercial) to highlight discrepancies/shortfalls between contractor documentation and Clients requirements.
- Review / monitor of project correspondences received and advises any problem areas together with identification of any changes/additions/deletions to the contract.
- Lead in tender preparation / management until award. Prepare costs estimation, evaluation of variations and valuation of progress claims.
- Lead in commercial discussions.
Skill Requirement
- Experience of no less than 10 years in Oil & Gas and large infrastructure projects.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying and/or Engineering.
- Experience in Infrastructure / LNG / Oil Storage Terminal / gas pipeline projects.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Familiarity with construction/ project management
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- A team player with leadership abilities
- Handled at least $500million project
- Fluency in communication, reading and written English.
- Familiar with all types of contracts particularly in FIDIC (EPC), PSSCOC (D&B)
