Job Title: Manual Wheelchair Assembly, Service, and Packing Mechanic
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manual Wheelchair Assembly, Service, and Packing Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, servicing, and packing of manual wheelchairs, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble manual wheelchairs according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Conduct thorough servicing of wheelchairs to identify and address any issues.
- Securely pack wheelchairs for safe transport and storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education level is not required, previous experience in a professional workshop or a knowledge of wheelchair or bicycle mechanics is preferred.
- Physically fit to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying wheelchairs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to start immediately or with one month's notice.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Working Location: 5012 Ang Mo Kio Techplace II (Air-conditioned Environment)
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break (Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays are off)
- Annual Leave: 7 days, increasing 1 day annually cap at a maximum of 14 days
- Basic Monthly Salary: SGD $2,400 during the 3-month probation period, increasing to SGD $2,500 upon successful completion.
- Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) + 13th Month Pay included
