Reporting to: Managing Director

Minimum Qualification: University Degree

Years of Experience: 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industries


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for budget and policy recommendations and medium-term planning.
  • Direct a variety of human resource-related programs to ensure that the organization's current and future human resource requirements are met and that employees are recruited, managed, organized, trained, evaluated and rewarded in accordance with organization's human resource strategy.
  • These programs may include: recruitment; training and development; compensation/remuneration; benefits; performance evaluation; organizational development; relocation; equal employment/affirmative action; health, safety and employee wellness; human resources administration; human resource information systems; payroll; employee communications; employment/ industrial/ labor relations.

Key Activities


HR Strategy

  • Liaise with functional or operational area managers to develop and implement local human resource strategies that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization's overall human resource strategy.
  • Evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the organization's human resource strategy and adapt existing current human resource programs to meet these needs.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of human resource professionals to ensure that the organization's human resource strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.

Recruitment

  • Highly experienced in recruitment management. In addition to the day-to-day managerial function, the role will incorporate strategic and policy development aspects that will have medium term consequences on the operation of the function and perhaps impact elements of organization performance.
  • Responsible for implementing the company's human resources admission program, by planning, coordinating and performing recruitment and selection strategy.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Responsible for management of the activities concerning internal equity, salaries, variable compensation and benefits policies adopted by the company.
  • Guarantees that the programs and systems related to the area meet the company´s business strategies, procedures and policies as well as legal requirements and regulations.

Industrial Relations

  • Administer the organization's established human resource programs so that they are implemented efficiently and equitably and comply with all relevant collective agreements, individual employment contracts, regulations, laws, and the organization's employment policies and standards.

Other HR activities

  • Responsible for the activities related to the processing of payroll, aiming at guaranteeing the correct payment of employees within company parameters and according to current legislation.
  • Develops short- and long-range strategic plans for effective recruitment, development, and utilization of human resources.
  • Projects current and future organization-wide staffing and organizational requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains human resource planning, control, and reporting activities.
  • Advises with departmental managers on the preparation of departmental human resource plans.
  • May also contribute to top corporate strategic planning process.
  • Implement the organization's training and development strategy so that the skills and performance of employees meet the organization's current and future needs.

Other Information

  • 5 days work week from 8.15am - 5pm
  • Based in HQ JE Summit , 5mins walk from JE MRT
  • Basic up to $10K with Transport allowance + AWS + Variable Bonus + Attractive Flexi benefits
