HR Executive (Generalist cum Payroll)


Position Summary:

The HR Executive plays a key role in managing and enhancing our recruitment processes and payroll operations. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills who can effectively handle multiple tasks and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.


Job Descriptions - Full spectrum of HR and Payroll function


Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be part of the Transnational HR Team based in Singapore. This role requires you to handle end-to-end HR and full payroll functions for the local brand.


HR Generalists


· Recruiting, retention, and talent succession

(Understanding the organization's needs and making sure those needs are met when recruiting for new positions, means hiring the right employee)

· Providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations when dealing with staff with complex and sensitive issues

· Monthly processing and checking of payroll/reimbursement (200 plus headcount)

· Maintains compliance with local employment laws, regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

· Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, investigations and termination.

· Providing information and answering employee questions related matters.

· Performs other duties as assigned.


HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee P-files records in the HR database.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct disciplinary actions. Provides counseling, support and guidance to employees.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events
  • All other ad-hoc administrative duties

Payroll


· Administer payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate submission of payment of salaries and benefits.

· Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and tax regulations.

· Provide support on payroll matters, tax issues (IR21) and time track matters.

· Manage day-to-day liaison with Internal / Payroll outsourcing partners closely, including monthly attendance metrics.

· Provide reconciliation of final payroll based on monthly accounting schedule.

· Coordinate with the finance department for payroll funding and reporting.


Qualifications:


· A Level/Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (HR and Payroll)

· Fluent in oral and written communication in both English and Chinese (with Malay language will be a bonus)

· Knowledge of payroll and statutory compliance to MOM, CPF and IRAS

· Hands-on experience in HRIS and Payroll software/system (e.g., WhyzeHR/ Peoplepay/ Info-Tech etc.).

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
