Job Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities in real estate credit or equity, perform financial analysis, and conduct due diligence to assess the feasibility and profitability of the investments;
- Prepare preliminary and detailed investment proposals, including financial models, investment memorandums, and presentations, to present to senior management and credit/investment committees;
- Lead the execution of transactions, including negotiations, legal documentation, and closing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies and proper asset management;
- Prepare and provide regular communications with investors and stakeholders, including financial reports, business plans, reports, budgets, etc;
- Formulate and execute the capital raising process for real estate private credit investment strategies and other strategies if needed by ARAvest such as develop and maintain strong relationships with global institutional investors, handle investor due diligence questions, create and deliver marketing material, fund structuring, fund structuring, and negotiate commercial terms, fees, etc;
- Work with senior management on new product development to ensure all product offerings to capture market appetite;
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the real estate industry in Asia, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management; and
- Provide support to other ARAvest initiatives as and when required.
Requirements:
- At least 10 yrs of relevant working experience in Investment, preferably in Real Estate or Credit
- Proven track record in leading deal execution, negotiations and transactions
- Global experience in investment management and good knowledge of global markets as this role covers Asia Pacific and global markets for future business expansion
- Strong communication and influencing skills to manage our multi-national investors
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Good networking skills and ability to lead cross functional teams
- Asian language skills a plus (Mandarin, Vietnamese, Bahasa or Filipino)
