What You'll do:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan.
- Identify and evaluate potential investments, partnerships, and acquisition opportunities via comprehensive due diligence, including market research, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
- Coordinate and execute the company’s fundraising activities across all deal types, including working closely with internal (e.g. legal, finance, tax, management team) and external parties (e.g. external counsels, investment banks, investors).
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including potential partners, investors, and industry experts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal finance, operations, and legal teams to facilitate deal execution.
- Prepare and present strategic recommendations, investment proposals, and project updates to senior management and the board of directors.
- Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Science from a reputable university.
- 1 to 5 years’ experience in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate/strategic planning, especially in M&A, corporate finance, or related fields.
- Knowledge of the renewable sector, particularly the bioenergy industry including feedstock supply chain, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape, is a plus.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of executing strategic initiatives from origination to closure, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High integrity, professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to travel.
