- Planning and implementation of maintenance programmes for Operational Technology (OT) related systems in a commercial building.
- Evaluation, management, and recommendation of vendors for various OT/M&E systems and equipment.
- Monitor and ensure the systems operation efficiency is in accordance with the design specifications and intent and to implement digital solutions to enhance efficiency in building operations.
- Conduct regular inspections, review contract specifications and make recommendations on upgrading standards for various OT/M&E systems and equipment.
- Prepare cost estimates, work specifications, invite quotations, recommendations of award for various repairs and maintenance work.
- Create and maintain good relationship, address OT concerns, enquiries and feedbacks raised by tenants/ occupiers.
- Vendors management and verify works upon completion.
- To monitor utilities consumption and reading of building equipment and fittings for irregular consumption and take corrective measure, if necessary.
- To review and recommend for approval cost-saving or cost-effective measures to reduce consumption or measures that would increase durability.
- Comply with regulatory and organisational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and practices. Conduct safety briefings for all contractors and technicians.
- Report accidents, near misses and incidents in accordance with WSH reporting practices.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to improve time, cost and quality management.
- Support the use of the latest smart facilities management trends or technologies.
- Any other duties assigned to you from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Facilities) with minimum 2 years’ experience or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Facilities) with minimum 5 years’ experience in similar capacity, managing commercial/ retail building and has a sound knowledge of building M&E systems.
- Basic knowledge of digitalisation in operational technology to enhance efficiency in building operations.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Property management experience in a commercial/retail development is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet set timelines.
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
- Proactive and solution oriented, friendly with assertive and personable nature.
- Meticulous, independent, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- A team player who is flexible and dependable.
- Prior experience in managing a Green Mark building/ facility is an advantage.
