Business Development Manager

Mars Foods, Llc (singapore Branch)

Drive an accelerated growth across identified Whitespace business across Asia. Define the strategy to win across markets with the right Portfolio and pricing. Identify and unlock new businesses opportunities by assessing Size of Prize (SOP), all in line with our governance and controls standards. Establish where to play and how to win across our global portfolio and find opportunities within Asia. Once established, manage ongoing partnerships with distributor partners.

  • Establish a quality in-depth study of the needs to realize our business ambition considering key success drivers/factors, relevant internal and external strengths and complexities and assess the current business models (distributorship, wholesalers, traders, etc.)
  • Define the model to win – including Portfolio, Pricing, Market
  • Establish solid and high-quality proposal to Grow the business with clear synergies and projection into sustainable acceleration of business growth and opportunities for new businesses in the longer term.
  • Launch our Global Brands in Asia through the whitespace channel and nurture them to grow.
  • Deliver NSV and MAC (Margin After Conversion) targets defined covered by this role
  • Proactively impact and influence key MW stakeholders leading with vision & purpose to obtain relevant approvals of their proposal.
  • Represent in internal S&OP+ meetings and ATGs, to ensure the vision and goals are backed up with operational delivery to support them
  • Leverage strong drive for results, project management skills and leading with vision & purpose to collaborate with all stakeholders (internal and external including distributors) communicate effectively, get their buy-in and bring the team along in an engaging manner in rolling out the plans defined.
  • Establish key measures and continuously monitor results and impact of the business model changes to the business in terms of financial, process and people.
  • Establish clear governance and controls guardrails in each market and monitor compliance to these.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Leadership Team, Regional experts in RTM/business models, cross functional Asia regional team (including Supply Chain, Finance, Trade Marketing, SRM etc.)) and external parties (distributors, customers, consumers, consultants, etc.) in studying, establishing, and implementing the most effective and successful RTM business models.
