Roles & Responsibilities
The job role of a Quantity Surveyor involves the following duties:
- To monitor ongoing construction projects and ensure they are completed within the projected budget & schedule.
- To take BQ, prepare tender submission to client.
- Prepare Monthly Claim to client and follow up with the client’s payment.
- Submit VO quotation to client, discuss about the variation works with client and make sure VO was approved by client.
- Source Suppliers and Sub-Contractors for ongoing project and negotiate with them for the scope of work and price.
- Assist manager for assessment of cost for the project.
- Verify sub-contractor’s payment claim & VO works against work completed.
- Settle the final settlements with Client and Sub-Contractor.
- Assist any other duties execute as Quantity Surveyor.
