More specifically, your key responsibilities will be to
· Analyse and make recommendations for changes in pricing strategy and markups toward customers, considering both internal and external (market driven) metrics.
· Identify specific categories or items that are challenging us on margins or win rate, and make suggestions on how to improve.
· Analyse customer spending patterns and recurrence of requests to identify areas we can optimize the assortments we are offering to customers.
· Stay up-to-date on global best practices on commercial processes, and make recommendations for how we can take advantage of this in the local branch using IT systems.
· Become and in-house ‘centre of excellence’ for commercial best-practices.
· Lead and manage optimization projects as required.
· Complete ad-hoc data analysis work as required.
