The Sales & Operations (S&OP) Planner is responsible for championing the process of Sales & Operations (S&OP) from planning to execution together with business partners in Sales and Operations. It’s a fulfilling role that ensures that business moves towards 0% waste while every hard grown crop reaches the hands of our consumers.
Main Responsibilities
• Set up planning function, with creation of clear standard operating procedure
• Lead supply forecasting and responsible for planning and scheduling of farm production in all farms. This includes managing master planning schedule to generate production output. Provide inputs to the Farm Operations team on fulfilment versus schedule.
• Based on supply forecasting, oversee material run-rates and work closely with Procurement Manager to ensure accurate procurement actions are taken to maintain stock levels. Ensure that warehouse stock cover is within healthy levels.
• Lead demand forecasting by partnering with Sales team to build bottoms-up forecast that reflects unconstrained demand. This includes working with Sales and Marketing teams to analyze changes in capacity, and ensuring promotional activities can be fulfilled by supply.
• Oversee Sales & Operations (S&OP) process to coordinate and ensure match of supply and demand, hence reducing waste in production. Responsible to track actual result versus agreed plan, and variance analysis that holds both Sales and Operations accountable to improve reconciliation
• Provide strategic support to General Manager, Operations, in process improvement projects
Who you are:
· 3+ years experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment.
· Good understanding of process flow and good analytical skills.
· Experience in overseeing the S&OP process.
· Experience using ERP/MRP Software (for example, Business Central) is a plus.
· Excellent cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
· Must be energetic and hands-on to take on new and challenging tasks and to have worked well with very limited resources and a strong sense of accountability.
· Independent team member who can manage your own timelines and deliverables within tight timelines
Preferable Nationality: Singaporean / Singapore PR preferred
