Job Responsibilities:
· Plan, control, coordinate and supervise the site operations and resources
· Supervise a team of Engineers who are assigned to take charge of the various construction projects
· Negotiate with clients on contractual matters
· Overall in charge of welfare, training and discipline of all department personnel
· Evaluate the performance of department personnel
· Ensure that the company’s resources are put to best use
· Ensure that the company’s quality of work is maintained at a high standard and to promote the company’s competent image in the construction industry
· Prepare and monitor the overhead budget of projects
· Evaluation of progress/variation claims before submission to the Contracts Department
· Ensure compliance with Company’s IMS process and procedures
· Ensure OSH risk assessments and EMS impact & aspect register are conducted and implemented in company operations
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• Candidate must possess at least formal trade qualifications. Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
• At least 8 year(s) of experience in construction in the water industry is required for this position.
• Familiar with various water and wastewater technologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal/communication skills, writing and problem-solving capacities
• Reliable, well organized, and detail-oriented
• Fluency in English
• Applicants must be willing to travel as and when required (up to, and sometimes exceeding, 50%)
• Familiarization with mechanical,electrical,Instrumentation and Controls of process plants
