Kitchen Assistant (Central Kitchen)
Working Day: 6 days per week (9am to 8pm)
Location: Food Xchange @ Admiralty
Salary: $1800 - $2200
Job Description:
- Responsible for the preparation of ingredients for food, maintaining the kitchen equipment/utensils at the utmost cleanliness and hygiene.
- Maintain and observe the consistency in taste, quality, quantity, temperature and presentation of each food prepped.
- Ensure food items are stocked and in an organised and hygienic manner.
- Ensure minimum wastage in food preparations.
- Ensure freshness of food ingredients and raw material, keeping of old and new items by rotating stock
- Maintain clean food preparation area and kitchen equipment to ensure safe food handling practices
- Washer duties
- Any ad hoc task assigned
Requirement:
- Food Hygiene Certification (will be sponsored if required)
- Well-versed in basic food preparation procedures and safety. Minimum 1 year experience.
