Job Description:
* Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with LTA regulations and best practices.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Conduct safety training for employees and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and safety equipment.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address safety concerns and promote a safe working environment.
* Ensure that all safety equipment is in good working condition and that employees are trained in its proper use.
* Prepare and submit safety reports to regulatory agencies as required.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator on LTA projects.
* Strong knowledge of LTA safety regulations and requirements.
* Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., WSQ) will be an advantage.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Must be physically and mentally strong.
* Able to work long hours and flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
* Familiarity with construction safety equipment and procedures.
* Ability to speak Mandarin or other languages is an advantage.
