Report to: Project Manager
Min Qualifications / Experience:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering holder with 1-2 years experience or fresh graduates
Job Skills Required:
Mechanical engineering knowledge and project management skills
Responsible for/authorised to:
a) Responsible for organizing, controlling and leading the Project team in co-ordination with inter-departments, sub-contractors, customers and third party/MOM inspectors to ensure projects are completed accordingly to production schedule, thereby meeting customer’s specifications and quality requirements while controlling the project cost within budget.
b) Detailed review of contract, customer’s technical specifications/data and related documents and executes the Project till its completion.
c) Monitor project cost variances and investigate for overruns.
d) Liases with Customer and/or 3rd party on all technical problems, clarifications and progress in relations to Projects.
e) Co-ordinate with Procurement Department and participates in purchasing committee for material and subcontracting to ensure that the purchase of material and service are within budget cost and delivery schedule.
f) Formulate plan, strategies and implement control procedures for smooth execution of project.
g) Participate in trouble-shooting of problems encountered during fabrication.
h) Analyse, review and evaluate change order for project, when situation arises.
i) Initiate kick-off meeting with workshop personnel and sub-contractor to discuss on requirement and specification of project.
j) Any adhoc projects assigned by Project Manager
