What we're looking for
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving user acquisition and contributing to the overall growth of Aevo. The primary focus of this role will be to get more traders onto the Aevo platform, as well as re-engage existing users.
Your responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new partnerships with high-volume traders, retail traders, and institutional traders to expand Aevo's user base and trading volume.
- Establish and manage affiliate partnerships with influential trading-focused communities / KOLs across various platforms, including Twitter, Telegram, YouTube, TikTok, and others.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with traders & whales to ensure their satisfaction and long-term engagement with Aevo.
- Conceptualize, develop, and execute innovative trading-related campaigns within Aevo to stimulate trading activity and attract new users.
- Stay up to date with the latest user acquisition strategies used by other exchanges and crypto companies, adapting and implementing creative approaches to maintain Aevo's competitive edge.
What we are looking for
- Proven work experience as a Business Development professional in a cryptocurrency exchange (centralized or decentralized perpetual exchange).
- Strong network within the crypto industry, including established relationships with high-volume traders, KOLs, and other relevant partners.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, including familiarity with the latest products, trends, and market dynamics.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for driving growth and achieving ambitious targets.
Nice to have
- Presence on Crypto Twitter, with reasonable sized follower count and audience
- Part of multiple trading-focused / alpha group chats (TG, wechat, twitter)
- Able to speak Mandarin or another language other than English
