Position: Sous Chef
Salary: $3,200 to $3,600
Benefits: Claimable transport/taxi for shifts ending after 11:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Supervise kitchen staff and manage shift schedules
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Assist in menu planning and inventory management
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Ensure timely delivery of food orders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and team management skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including late nights
