Business Operations Lead

We're seeking a motivated Business Operations Lead to oversee and enhance our business processes across various functions including marketing, business development, supply chain, and product launches.


As the Business Operations Lead, you will collaborate with diverse teams to foster growth and uphold operational excellence daily. Your role will involve:


Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead efforts to resolve operational challenges promptly and effectively through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with third-party agencies, ensuring smooth operational interactions and relationships.
  • Manage supply chain activities such as inventory planning, order management, and vendor coordination.
  • Identify opportunities for operational enhancement, proposing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) documentation for business operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects, providing expertise and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with teams to implement strategies, process improvements, and deliverables within established timelines.
  • Coordinate promotional activities and campaigns across all sales channels.

Business Development

  • Oversee the business development function, identifying new opportunities for growth and expanding market presence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to support business objectives.

Customer Service Management

  • Manage the customer service team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
  • Implement best practices and training programs to enhance the performance of the customer service team.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


Required Skills & Experience


Skills

  • Deep understanding of strategic planning and the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable objectives. Proven ability to execute these objectives flexibly while considering resource limitations.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Advanced analytical abilities, proficient in leveraging data for decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and perform well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in operations or a related field, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience in supply chain management.
  • Previous experience working for a startup company is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice-to-haves

  • Have work experience for a D2C brand

  • Interest in sports and fitness
