We are looking for a friendly salesperson to assist customers in our store. The salesperson is responsible for greeting Japanese customers, helping them find items in the store, and also contacting our suppliers in both Japan and Vietnam for purchases/ orders.
Job Scope (Responsibilities):
- Ability to communicate in both English and Japanese
- Help and also propose to our customers on items we hold in our store
- Provide customers with information about items
- Contact our main office in Japan regarding purchases
- Elevate complaints/ comments to management
- Keep track of inventory
- Liaising and good working relationship with admin and accounts department to facilities efficient and timely
- Prepare and execute sales plan
- Prepare weekly sales report
- Procure new clients and build long-term and string relationships with existing clients
- Meet sales and other targets as set by superior
- Gather feedback and information about customer needs, market and competition.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Commerce or a related field would be advantageous
- Excellent in communication skills
- Flexible working hours
- Mathematically skilful in numbers
- Prior experience in retail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Motivation to work through busy shifts
- Able to read, write and speak in Japanese fluently
