GTMaritime is a rapidly growing SaaS business supplying data focussed software solutions to 17,000 commercial shipping vessels across the globe. GTMaritime are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) growth within the APAC regions.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth through optimising existing customer relationships along with driving new business sales throughout the region.
The role would be well suited to a results focused, highly motivated individual who can build long lasting relationships to generate income and maximise profit.
Although this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-sufficient and dynamic individual, but we will also consider fresh grads who are keen in exploring a career in Maritime Satellite Communications.
Responsibilities:
• Grow monthly recurring revenue and identifying new business leads and assign those to resellers or manage personally where necessary. Identifying key decision makers within maritime companies and establishing strong relationships is key to success.
• Identify opportunities to engage new resellers, agents or direct customers, conducting presentations, demonstrations and meetings to showcase our software solutions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, progression of opportunities, client interactions, and progress toward targets via the inhouse CRM.
• Act as the main point of contact for all your existing end customers or resellers, building strong and long lasting relationships, providing them with a personalised and consultative approach to addressing their needs. Ensure positive relationships are maintained.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships internally, keeping the team information of market developments, feedback on our solutions and technology innovations.
• We believe success in the maritime industry is built on strong personal relationships with our customers. Being able and willing to regularly travel throughout the APAC region, sometime at short notice, to meet customers face to face is key to success. Attendance to key maritime events and exhibitions is essential.
Relevant Experience includes:
• Track record of hands on sales of software solutions.
• Maritime industry experience is highly preferable.
• Knowledgeable and familiar with Maritime Satcom solutions.
• Being multilingual is desirable and advantageous for this application.
