Job Description
Unearthed Productions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Director to lead our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV technology, proven leadership experience, and familiarity with working in various venues, including hotels and convention centers. This role will require a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of delivering high quality technical solutions for a variety of clients/ events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, setup, and execution of AV components for events.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians, ensuring optimal performance and development.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure all technical aspects of events are executed seamlessly and professionally.
- Maintain and manage technical equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Coordinate with venue staff, including hotels and conference centers, to ensure all technical needs are met.
- Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and trends to continuously improve service offerings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during events.
- Develop and implement technical standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Remain as the point of contact for clients and venues for productions
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in AV technology, including setup and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a technical team.
- Strong background in working with various venues, including hotels and conference centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in AV technology or related field (preferred).
