Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain the confidentiality of the patient records.
- Ensure accuracy of coded data sent to MOH on monthly basis.
- Meet KPI for Mediclaim / insurance coding and address to related queries from Business Office, Insurance and Physicians.
- Maintain and update the daily coding log with necessary details.
- Participate in monthly coding analysis and audits.
- Generate monthly and adhoc reports based on user requirements.
- Liaise with Physicians, Business Office and other stake holders on coding issues.
- Participate in quality and improvement projects if required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Medical/ Nursing/ Health sciences. Diploma holders are welcome to apply too.
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology/ procedures.
- Basic Coding Assessment (BCA) certificate from the Ministry of Health is an added advantage.
- At least 1 year experience in related field.
