Planner (BOM/MRP/Oracle)
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily production planning, reviewing statuses, and providing necessary updates.
- Identify, negotiate, and proactively resolve conflicts with different departments related to materials availability, capacity, and order promise integrity.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal stakeholders including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Service, for smooth operations.
- Review daily material shortages and expedite buyers to meet demand, minimizing disruptions.
- Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) execution to ensure data accuracy
- Update Bills of Materials (BOM) as required and adjust production schedules accordingly.
- Reconcile supply and demand to maintain accurate production schedules.
- Approve and review Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for materials impact.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on production performance, highlighting issues and bottlenecks.
- Utilize data analysis to drive informed decision-making and process improvement.
- Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
Requirements:
- Possess min Diploma in Supply Chain or a related field.
- Min 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or production planning, preferably in semiconductor/manufacturing industries.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, addressing challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of VB & Power BI tools is an added advantage.
- Show interest in process improvement, contributing to the enhancement of planning processes
