What you'll do:
As a Business Analyst (Trade Finance), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the comprehensive delivery of the Global Trade Finance banking information technology systems. You will be responsible for conducting systematic business analysis, designing functional solutions, developing testing scopes, assisting users in executing User Acceptance Testing, documenting user manuals, liaising with stakeholders for approvals, leading development teams' deliveries, establishing clear development and quality governance, and acting as a subject matter expert on end-to-end processes.
- Conduct systematic business analysis and validate business requirements to align with business/operations needs as well as information technology architecture and security standards
- Design functional solutions & user workflows and document Functional Specifications
- Develop System Integration Testing/User Acceptance Testing/Non-Regression Testing scope and approach, guide Testing team in writing test scenarios/cases and review for stakeholder signoff
- Assist users in planning/executing User Acceptance Testing, analysing defects, and defining defects priority for fix delivery by development team
- Document/review user manuals and release notes as required
- Liaise with all stakeholders for requisite approvals and lead the Development teams deliveries
- Establish clear Development and Quality governance, monitoring, measurement and communication
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on end-to-end processes

The ideal candidate for the Business Analyst (Trade Finance) role brings robust functional & business analysis skills with the ability to bridge between business/operations & information technology. The candidate has good functional experience in Trade Finance Product and applications. The candidate can work independently while maintaining excellent communication and coordination skills among multiple teams that are multicultural and cross-country. The candidate is familiar with standard formats such as SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022 & data transformations and proficient in Unix/Shell scripts, XML and Oracle/PLSQL. Fluency in French language is a key requirement for this role.
