My client is a growing communications technology company that streamline and foster closer collaboration and organization within the organization.
With a growing awareness and importance of sustainability and ESG reporting , they are looking to expand their business development team whereby you would be tasked with identifying sales opportunities, driving the full sales cycle and promoting the organization's ESG software solutions to its targeted audience.
About the role
Reporting to the Business Development Director, your main responsibilities would includes
- Identifying companies that would require ESG reporting/solutions and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth by developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business targets
- You would be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, pursuing sales leads and prospective clients within our CRM.
- Deliver compelling customer presentations and proposals, negotiating and closing business deals to people of all levels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Understanding client needs and providing tailored ESG solutions to meet those needs.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ESG trends, legislation, and best practices.
Skills and experience required
- Proven Sales experience with the ability to engage C level clients and providing a consultative sales approach and understanding their pain points and ESG goals before devising an appropriate solution to their needs
- Ability to engage with people of different backgrounds, and work in a cross-cultural environment
- Proactive in understanding and being updated with the latest ESG trends locally and globally
