Job Description
- Coordinate closely with all stakeholders from Clients, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, Onboarding and Legal & Compliance to understand their requirements for the organization's strategic projects and initiatives.
- Identify gaps, potential risks, and opportunities by studying their requirements and discussing them with external solution providers before making a final recommendation to the Project Steering Committee or the Project Manager / Project Director.
- Involved in re-engineering work to streamline processes, and reduce bottlenecks and inefficiencies to align with business objectives.
- Track progress and deliverables.
- Support the Project Manager / Project Director in project administration.
- Explore and brainstorm on new emerging technologies, including prototyping of new solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Computing or equivalent but other disciplines are welcome to apply.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into simple documents.
- Good understanding of the latest technology.
- Good knowledge of programming languages including Python, scripting and VBA etc. Understand database design and database structure languages such as SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team player and good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in Futures & Options, Foreign Exchange Derivatives and Fixed Income products is a plus but not a necessity.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Finance industry. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
