VP, Business Development
The VP, Business Development will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing the sales team, and ensuring the seamless delivery of products/services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to manage the entire sales process.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Sales Process Management
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Coordinate with the delivery team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products/services.
- Monitor and optimize sales workflows and processes.
Team Development
- Mentor and develop the sales team, providing training and support to enhance their skills.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Market Analysis
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Adjust sales strategies based on market insights.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Experience in the SaaS sector is a plus.
