The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for both new business and retention of existing clients. He/She establishes and maintains strong business relationships with clients. He/She provides quotations to new prospects in accordance to the guidelines, risk management and underwriting profitability. He/She also handles renewal policies, clients’ enquiries relating to all insurance products and delivers corporate presentations. He/She must be results oriented and possess a deep passion for sales. He/She must possess good interpersonal skills to deliver a personalised experience for his/her clients.
Tasks
- Collate, update and maintain market and competitors' activities on a monthly basis.
- Interpret market trends and developments.
- Lead and manage the activities of sales and marketing staff.
- Manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Plan and organise sales campaigns and promotions.
- Review client feedback to improve on client service delivery.
