Job – Objective / Position Description:
To provide accurate payroll information and payments to employees. Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
Responsibilities (Key Result Areas & Activities)
· Responsible for payroll administration covering the full spectrum of payroll for staff.
· Ensure compliance to statutory requirements, government legislation and group policies and standards.
· Manage all statutory submissions, payments and processing of government claims e.g. annual tax filings, IR21, IR8A, NS Reservist claims, CDCA claims etc.
· Maintain HRIS system and work with system provider to ensure changes/updates are fully tested and implemented.
· Provide payroll related information for internal and external audits.
Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required to - KNOW (Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours)
· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
· At least 3 years of payroll experience.
· Strong knowledge in statutory regulations and reporting.
· Attentive to details, organized and with excellent numerical skills.
· Independent and able to work in a fast paced environment with effective time management ability.
