Our client, a reputable high end Hospitality chain, is urgently seeking: Director of Human Capital (Group Level)
Reporting line: Deputy MD, Hospitality Management (Thai National)
The Director, GHR will work alongside GHR-Operations and Learning and Development (L&D) with 2 main roles. The first is for all HR daily operations, administration and engagement in the Singapore and related remote offices, which comprises under 100 associates. The second role is to work alongside GHR-Operations and L&D to support the overall GHR portfolio and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Corporate role
- Groupwide Benefit Management (Insurance, long term incentive, provident fund, e-vouchers system)
- Executing key programs for Associate Engagement (Quarterly Celebrating New Talent) and
- Participate in all statutory requirement reporting e.g. Annual Report, Sustainability Report gender pay gap, KMP forms, share plans etc
- Direct, produce and oversee all HR Communications, including coordination of Long Service Awards, Townhalls, announcements
- Steering of Groupwide engagement forums such as ASI, AWI, Townhalls, LSA, and fulfilment of Associate code of conduct
- Alignment and review of corporate HR P&P to hotel level HR P&P, including but not limited to JD libraries, contract templates, associate handbooks to ensure compliance and adherence
- Assist with recruitment, deployment and development for corporate associates
- Assist to manage people development related matters and driving positive employer branding
Singapore Office role
- Manage and oversee the recruitment / on boarding / new hire orientation of new associates
- Work with IT and Finance for effective people management and communications
- Oversee the execution of daily HR operations including local and overseas payroll, updates and communications, associate engagement network
- Oversee compensation and benefits, annual salary review, bi-annual talent reviews, bonus, incentive and increment cycles, provident fund and shares plan
- Build supportive and effective relationships across the various departments to improve morale and team spirit
- Actively promote a wellbeing and caring work environment
- Coordinate with in-house L&D Academy on training and development opportunities
Requirements
- Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of extensive HR knowledge and experience
- A must: from hospitality industry and with corporate governance experiences; along with MNC multi-market experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills
