Position summary statement
The overall aim of this position is to support all revenue driving activities in the hotel by preparing for and executing revenue strategies agreed by hotel management team.
Primary Responsibilities
Analysis
• Assist in preparing adhoc analysis and reports to support hotel’s revenue driving activities
• Preparation and complete standard reports including month-end related documents prescribed by company.
Revenue Management & Distribution
• Assist in recommending key market and pricing strategies by identifying opportunities for incremental revenue through analyses and tactical actions based on market segments, demand, positioning, etc.
• To conduct competitive research and market intelligence for RM to decide on strategic pricing decision through monitoring of scheduled rate shopping and competitor reports, and review of other market intelligence.
• To ensure that all channels of distribution such as direct, GDS, and the internet - are fully optimized without any conflict in distribution, representation and positioning.
• Prepare weekly revenue meeting information and applicable analysis when required
• Assist with monthly revenue management forecast process • Help manage and maintain IDeaS revenue management system at optimal level
• Support preparation of annual budgeting and Sales & Marketing plans
• Assist with managing rate loading process for corporate, wholesale and public rate plans and ensure accurate distribution of rates and details across applicable channels
• Work with sales team and corporate DM team to ensure GDS rate loading is done in accurate and effective manner
• To assist with training and support the revenue management culture across all departments within hotel and CRS team.
• To work closely with CRS (Central Reservation Singapore) and internal team on revenue management techniques and its execution.
Other Responsibilities
• Supports the Mission, Purpose and Values of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group. • Complies with all relevant Workplace Safety & Health practices and maintains a safe workplace for all associates.
• Adheres to grooming and hygiene standards set by the Hotel.
• Exercises responsible behaviour at all times to uphold the image and reputation of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Hotel and department.
• Ensures that the Hotel’s properties and facilities are protected and are kept in good working condition. Reports any loss or damage to the Hotel’s properties and facilities promptly and appropriately.
• Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
