Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using PowerBuilder.
- Develop and maintain database scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure applications are running smoothly.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve their queries.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests.
Requirements:
- Experience working on multiple PowerBuilder projects, preferably in different domains.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Minimally 5 years of experience in PowerBuilder development or a similar role.
