· Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in tender preparation, submission, budgeting and forecasting.
· Provide contractual advisory from commercial perspective to the project through all stages.
· Proactively engage in continuous improvement and review of existing processes, system and policies that may support the project’s contract management and administration.
· Support project teams in administering sub-contracts including progress payments, variation orders and contractual matters
· To evaluate and analyze sub-contractors pricings and award of sub contracts
· To prepare specification and sub contract documents with project team
· Manage delayed and disputed costs and variation claims
· Manage, strategize and assist in EOT claims
· To look out for tender opportunities and attend site show-rounds to tenders or visit site to understand the project site conditions.
· To undertake any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS:
· Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equivalent
· Possess knowledge in construction/contract law & different standard forms of contracts.
· Minimum 6 years of experience in construction project value of at least 50 million and above.
