Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct additional checks for auto-generated HDHD Financial Fee Review (FFRs) upon approval, regardless of patient status (HD or HDHD).
- Apply existing provisions for increased Dialysis Charges for co-payment if there is no change in the means test. In case of a change in the means test, ensure new FFRs are approved and verified by both ComCare and FIN.
- Perform manual validation of HDHD invoices due to the unavailability of automated billing reports.
- Verify HDHD versus HD rates based on sessions attended as opposed to single rate as proposed based on last DX session type attended, considering the complexity of the correct subvention type to be claimed.
- Monitor and manage insurance policies to address instances where the annual cap is reached sooner than expected, necessitating additional manual handling.
- Ensure billing aligns with the tagging/untagging of HDHD status.
MOH Subvention Rate Change (Effective July 2024):
- Ensure existing provisions for increased Dialysis Charges for patients’ co-payment.
- Coordinate with IT and ComCare to ensure the correct sequence of data updates to HD FFRs.
- Validate HD FFRs before and after the rate change, and collaborate with ComCare and IT to resolve any abnormalities before the HD bill run on August 5, 2024.
- Hold invoices if issues from item 9 are not resolved in time, ensuring thorough troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
