Responsibilities
- Ensure financial reports comply with accounting practices and meeting internal and external audit and regulatory requirements
- Plan, prepare, co-ordinate and monitor the preparation of financial statement and items to ensure accuracy
- Ensure reports are prepared in accordance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, Insurance Act and ACRA Guidelines
- Prepare required financial analysis for all Funds and variance analysis between IFRS17 and IFRS4 basis
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders on actuary, audit related matters and queries
- Ensure internal controls and SOP are updated and reviewed regularly
- Monitor team members’ daily work to ensure allocated tasks are completed within agreed timeline
- Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial reporting
- Comfortable to work within tight timelines
- Proficient with MS Office
