Our client is an asset management firm that specializes in alternative investment. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Finance Manager and the role is based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform and review day-to-day accounting and finance activities for the firm
• Prepare and review financial and management reporting, manage month-end closing
• Liaise with external auditors for audit-related matters and prepare year-end audit schedules.
• Provide monthly consolidation of management accounts
• Monitor cashflow such as payments, reimbursement, invoices etc
• Perform the monthly reconciliation of bank statement
• Liaise with external vendors such as fund administrator to review fund accounting reports, capital calls/ distribution notice etc
• Liaise with external stakeholders to perform tax filing and statuary reporting
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
• Other ad-hoc finance tasks when necessary
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other accounting qualifications
• Min 5 years of corporate accounting experience in fund management / asset management industry
• Fund accounting exposure is an advantage
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Motivated, independent and flexible to work in a small office environment
• Positive and a good learning attitude, detailed-oriented
