About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Development Specialists spread across Asia. The Sales Development teams are responsible for generating new business for LinkedIn by developing and qualifying revenue opportunities. You will be a frontline manager of Sales Development Representatives focused on building the APAC corporate sales pipeline and achieving individual, team and regional quotas.


This role will be managing Outbound SDRs for LinkedIn Talent Solutions (Talent + Learning) and to execute Outbound Sales Development strategy for new segment & growth region. You will partner closely with APAC sales leaders to deliver successful SD impact for Acquisition business. Finally, as a leader within Sales Development, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners in Acquisition Ops, SD Enablement, Talent Acquisition to develop a robust sales development strategy and drive key initiatives to achieve Sales objectives.


You will be expected to take intelligent risks while driving initiatives to meet common organizational goals. The SD Managers are expected to drive peer collaboration while having a healthy competitive attitude amongst them. We are growing fast and there is a lot to do around here!  We expect our employees to have an impact outside of the core sales function by demonstrating leadership, providing leverage and producing results that will help us scale effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage, hire, train and ramp a team of highly talented Sales Development Representatives
  • Develop/Coach representatives in their careers towards future Account Executive and related sales roles
  • Lead through LinkedIn’s culture and values – be a culture carrier and lead by example
  • Proactively identify and launch initiatives to drive both new business development growth and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Sales to drive new business through outbound Demand Generation
  • Achieve quarterly Sales Qualified Opportunity & Revenue targets

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of working experience in a Sales / Sales Strategy function in a matrix organization
  • 2+ years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage Senior Sales Stakeholders & drive cross functional initiatives at scale
  • Demonstrated success in overachieving quotas/targets for revenue
  • Execution-oriented to build high-quality pipeline and achieve revenue targets
  • Strong business leadership capabilities including managing different stakeholders
  • Strong people management skills with proven track record of developing talent
