Application Development/Support Engineer
Seeking a Software Development and Support Engineer at the junior to intermediate level to maintain and enhance our exchange's vital business systems. The role involves providing second-line support, which includes overseeing daily operations and implementing system improvements. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, design solutions, and guide them through to successful implementation.
Requirements:
- Experience with large financial software projects
- 2+ years coding in Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Strong in object-oriented programming and databases
- Familiar with network protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP)
- Linux and shell scripting skills preferred
- Financial industry experience a plus
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Qualifications:
- Degree in CS, Math, Physics, or Engineering
- Self-driven team player
- Thrives under pressure and deadlines
- Mandarin speaking to liaise with overseas shareholders and clients.
- Flexible with shifts, including holidays
