Our client, a global company in the engineering sector, is currently looking for a 6 months’ contract credit management accountant to join their dynamic team.
The Role
The role involves complete ownership of the credit management cycle, including invoicing, tracking, communication with customers and internal teams, and collection processes. It also includes billing intercompany charges, daily cash proceeds updates, cash collection forecasting, and driving collection performance. Responsibilities include verifying final invoices, managing bi-annual credit limits for non-intercompany customers, and collaborating with sales and finance directors on credit adjustments. The role also entails setting up new customer accounts with credit analysis, handling month-end and quarter-end financial closing, reporting, reconciliation, and resolving operational issues affecting collections. Additionally, the role manages trade payment tools, performs month-end financial closing and management reporting, ensures compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements, manages tax and transfer pricing reporting, participates in continuous improvement projects, and assists with internal and external audits.
Your Profile
You should possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and credit management. You are expected to have good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members as well as externally with clients.
