· Conducts shift briefing in the absence of Manager to update on hotel and operational issues and constant reminder on the standards to be adhered to
· Resolve complaints and follow up on feedbacks from the guests
· Supervise cash handling and cashiering duties of the team
· Ensure the periodic maintenance of equipment
· Monitor and manage the beverage inventory
· Conduct training for the team to improve guests experience
· Identify the training needs of the team, communicating them to the training manager
· Provide ideas on food and beverage menu creation
· Work with management to manage the department’s budget
· Ensure good knowledge of the fire evacuation plan and be well versed in the procedures
· Ensure that shift duties are completed
· Well versed in food hygiene safety standards
· Proactive in managing QA process and standards
· Ensures cost control practices are implemented and practiced
· Assist in hotel operations when required
