Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in social media management, SEO, and marketing on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing and branding strategies to effectively engage our target audience and promote our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.
- Define the most important social media KPIs.
- Manage and oversee social media content.
- Measure the success of every social media campaign.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.
SEO and Content Optimization:
- Conduct keyword research to guide content teams.
- Optimize content for the website and social media platforms.
- Develop SEO-friendly content and campaigns.
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
Platform-Specific Marketing:
- Plan and execute Facebook and Instagram marketing campaigns.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) on Facebook and Instagram.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
Marketing and Branding:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create a cohesive social media strategy.
- Align social media content with the overall branding and marketing strategy.
- Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders.
- Design and implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability.
- BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations.
