Salary: $3,000 - $3,600 (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile, prepare, and analyze data for reinsurance policy renewals.
- Perform catastrophe modeling and prepare analytical reports.
- Analyze insurance portfolios and optimize reinsurance structures using Dynamic Financial Analysis (DFA) and catastrophe modeling tools.
- Prepare presentation reports to explain analytical results and recommendations to clients.
- Develop and enhance training materials related to analytics and actuarial work, and conduct client training sessions.
- Develop and maintain internal models, templates, and benchmarks.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Preferably some experience in the reinsurance/insurance industry in analytical or actuarial roles.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with MS Access, SQL, and VBA is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
