My client is a dynamic and rapidly growing startup. They are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Finance Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in managing their financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and driving the financial planning of the company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Salary: Up to $12,500 (base salary) + stock options
Office Location: Fully remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
- Financial Management:Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Performance Analysis:Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and performance measurement to support decision-making processes.
Identify and analyze key financial metrics to drive business performance and achieve financial targets.
Monitor and report on financial performance against strategic goals.
- Risk Management:Assess and manage financial risks, implementing controls and procedures to mitigate risks.
Ensure effective internal controls and financial procedures are in place.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment with expansion to regional level is highly desirable.
