Astignes Capital is an Asia-focused alternative investment management firm based in Singapore. Our investment strategy aims to capture macro and relative value opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region primarily through the use of interest rates, FX and volatility instruments. The firm launched its flagship Asia Rates fund in 2007. We are looking to hire a full-time Finance and Compliance Analyst.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Prepare financial statements in accordance with local jurisdiction accounting principles, working with local third-party administrators
· Administer QuickBooks software including entity creation, chart of accounts and security
· Prepare tax information for Singapore and US tax filings
· Work with local auditors on Firm audit
· Prepare or assist with regulatory reporting and government surveys
· Assist with execution of the Firm’s Compliance Monitoring Program
· Assist in monitoring regulatory developments and updating compliance manuals, policies and procedures
· Assist with counterparty onboardings / account set-ups
Required Skills & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· Highly organised and detail oriented
· Strong sense of personal responsibility/accountability
