Job Description
Reception
Handling of incoming phone calls and recording phone logs
Performing simple administrative work
Managing counter duties such as attending to students, parents and walk-in visitors’ queries
Responding to enquiries and providing general useful information
Attending to goods delivery on behalf of staff
Caring of unwell students by rendering basic assistance to walk-in
To conduct wipe down using disinfectant for front counter daily after recess and after lunch and for chairs at visitor waiting area daily at least once a day
General Admin
To provide admin support for School Management Committee, School Leaders and teachers
To provide admin support for school events and activities
Assist in the counting / sorting / packing / distribution of brochures or leaflets/items to the teachers and students
Attend to students leaving school early
Assist in the dissemination of information: school circulars, parents’ messages
Handle and keep track of lost and found items
Handle incoming mails
Assist in office admin duties such as data entry, filing, faxing, editing of documents
Maintain tidiness of the Reception area at all times
To manage stock of spare uniform
To support any other general admin duties as and when required.
Any other duties assigned by School Leaders/ HODs/ AM/ OM
Requirements
Good communication and inter-personal skills
Good team player with a high level of initiative
Good customer service skills
Mature individual with a pleasant disposition, is polite, patient, caring and positive
Proficient in MS Office
First aid knowledge will be an advantage
