Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate and oversee the receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customers to coordinate logistics activities.
- Provide timely updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that arise.
- Assist in planning and scheduling shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
- Optimize transportation routes and methods to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain knowledge of current laws and regulations related to logistics and transportation.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints regarding logistics issues.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, shipment status, and other logistics metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
