Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the duties and responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Sales Assistant Manager are as follows:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall F&B outlets' group booking revenue.
- Drive group booking across all F&B outlets namely Peppermint, Peach Blossoms, Portman’s Bar and Skyline Bar.
- Works closely with the F&B Project Manager on all festive season food and beverage offerings not limited to the following – Chinese New Year, Rice Dumplings/Dragon Boat Festival, Mooncake/Mid-Autumn Festival, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- Ensures all guest-facing communications are in line with the overall hotel's strategy for financial and operational goals.
- Work closely with the outlet manager to ensure all communication is aligned with customer requests and expectations.
- Analysis of pricing comparison of competitors in the market.
- To prepare and be accountable for profit & loss accounts.
- To carry out all tasks in a reasonable time frame to ensure the smooth running of the areas and restaurant.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
- Driven, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good influencing skills and the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of which will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to generate new business opportunities.
- An excellent team player who is able to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
