Job Description:

  • Develop inventory strategies that are capable of showcasing various types of product assortment in the most relevant way for our customers during their discovery and purchasing journeys
  • Develop understanding of the breadth of our inventory assortment to enrich the overall strategy
  • Define and iterate sets of metrics that optimize for sales and revenue
  • Closely collaborate with other functions such as country operations, commercial, customer care to gather customer insights and voices
  • Closely collaborate with product and data team to develop and iterate on the algorithm to optimize our relevance to drive sales and revenue
  • Build a high performing organization with the right fundamentals to realize Traveloka's growth aspirations. People development, management, and grooming skills are necessary - the role is accountable for team and organizational building
  • Work with external and internal stakeholders to realize collaborations, obtain buy-ins, and cooperate on prioritized initiatives
  • Develop strong and robust infrastructure to allow for agile, timely business growth
  • Drive executions; with a good balance of quick, practical experiments and fundamental building

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of similar experiences, esp. in leading business organization with proven track record of business results;
  • Experienced in leading company-wide initiatives is a must;
  • Financially sound, fluent with investment decision making with users as the main anchor;
  • Fluent with quantitative, qualitative analysis and possess critical thinking trait;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in a concise and meaningful way;
  • Flexible, comfort with ambiguity and dynamically shifting priorities, deadlines, and demands;
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with limited resources;
  • Strong work ethic (takes ownership), self-motivated and quick-study mentality; able to multi-task and manage own workload with limited supervision;
  • Passionate about customers and deliver great communication to users;
  • Methodical, data oriented and highly organized;
  • Strategic, visionary but also excellent in execution
