The Head of Compliance for Asia is responsible for ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies as they apply to the business in Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the business complies with all Asia compliance and regulatory matters.
- Align governance and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the compliance management framework.
- Complete quarterly controls testing.
- Create and implement compliance processes, policies, and standards.
- Responsible for anti-financial crime and sanctions controls in Asia
- Prepare reports for Audit, Risk and Compliance Committees.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in a finance, legal, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in audit, legal or compliance.
- 8+ years of experience in insurance
- Experience in insurance regulations across Asia (mandatory: Singapore, Hong Kong)
Compensation:
- Annual salary of $165,000 - $180,000
- Competitive bonus
